Navigating Neurofibromatosis: Steven Bloom’s Journey with KineDek AI-CRT

Steven Bloom, a once physically active young man, has been battling Neurofibromatosis—a rare neurological disease that causes aggressive tumour growth on neural fibres. In March 2024, after undergoing his first spinal surgery, he was left partially paralyzed. A second operation during his three-month hospital stay resulted in permanent paralysis from the midriff down, with diminished movement in his lower body. Before his first surgery, he already had mobility limitations on his left side, including his left arm and hand, which have persisted. His condition also led to impaired excretory function.

After receiving specialized hospital rehabilitation, he now requires permanent care at home, including night-time turning to prevent bedsores and assistance with wheelchair transfers.

On March 6, 2025, Steven began KineDek AI-CRT sessions. In his first session, he experienced improved muscle control, particularly activation of his abdominal muscles, which was previously impossible. In his second session, he demonstrated improved back extension movement.

Sessions: 13 & 28 March 2025
📹 The video captures Steven’s dramatic transformation:

  • Initial State: He had zero core capability (no back or abdominal function) and couldn’t overcome 1.5 kg of resistance.

  • Now: He’s performing 50 seated row reps at 12.5 kg without exhaustion—a 1000%+ increase in strength!

Notable Improvements Beyond Strength

🟢 Significant Muscle Tone Gains – Particularly around his core, with noticeable weight loss around the waist.

🟢 Improved Mental Acuity and Sense of Self – Steven reports feeling sharper, more positive, and more capable.

🟢 Better Sleep Without Tranquilizers – He no longer relies on sedatives to rest.

🟢Reduced Spasms and Lower Medication Use – Steven has started weaning off spasm medications, which he was taking at maximum dosage.

🟢 Matching Arm Strength - His left arm , previously weaker and lacking full functionality, now shows equal strength to his right arm, a milestone in restoring upper body balance.

🟢 Increased Functional Independence:

  • He can now transfer from bed to wheelchair and sit unassisted on a couch.

  • Previously, he needed assistance multiple times a night to avoid bedsores—now he’s managing independently.

Steven’s progress is nothing short of life-changing—and it’s just the beginning! 🌟
